Big Bend National Park
Big Bend National Park covers some of the most rugged country in west Texas where the Rio Grande makes a sharp turn—the Big Bend. It is a meeting place of many things: Texas land and culture meets Mexico land and culture, desert meets mountains; north flora, fauna and birds meet south; east flora, fauna and birds meet west. Big Bend includes rivers, massive canyons, vast desert expanses, and the entire Chisos Mountain range.

Del Rio Population: 35,000
An undiscovered gem among Texas border towns, Del Rio features tree-lined streets and beautiful architecture. Tournament-quality fishing, birdwatching and prehistoric petroglyphs are just a few of the reasons people are drawn to Del Rio. It's becoming more popular as a destination for Winter Texans.

Laredo Population: 200,000
Known as the "Gateway to Mexico," Laredo is on the banks of the Rio Grande River, across from its sister town of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Like many Texas border towns, it's a blend of Mexico and Texas cultures. You can park at the International Bridge and walk across to Mexico to enjoy the exciting sights and sounds of shopping and dining.

San Antonio Population: 1.2 million
Located in southern-central Texas, San Antonio is at the heart of a multi-cultural crossroads, blending the Old West and New World. Native American, Mexican, German, African-American, Western and Southern influences are evident throughout the city, in the historic districts, architecture, museums, galleries and restaurants.
