 Getting There

  Las Cruces is best accessed by car from north/south I-25 or from the west via I-10 which leads into Arizona. If coming from Roswell, Carlsbad, or Alamogordo, US-70 leads right into Las Cruces.

 Crossing into Mexico

 

As of January 31, 2008, to cross both into and out of Mexico by car or by foot, you will need a passport. Alternatively, you can provide a government-issued photo id (like a driver's license) plus proof of U.S. citizenship (like a birth certificate).

  Las Cruces International Airport (505-526-4831) serves Las Cruces and Dona Ana County and is approximately 8 miles outside of town. Las Cruces International is one of the largest airports in southern New Mexico, offering hundreds of flights departing and arriving daily.
