National Cowgirl Museum And Hall Of Fame

John Wayne and Clint Eastwood kept the lonely legend of the cowboy alive on the movie and television screens, but the cowgirl has never gotten quite as much press. This museum is a celebration of not only those female wranglers that often get left out of the history books, but on figures like Georgia O’Keefe who were strong Southwestern women, even if bronco-riding was not their forte. In fact, Sandra Day O' Connor was a recent inductee.
