Ragtown Recreation Area Campground

Ragtown is located on the Texas shore of Toledo Bend Reservoir and is maintained and operated by the Sabine River Authority of Texas. Completed in 1975, this area is nestled high on a bluff and offers spectacular views of the water. The boat ramp allows access to the lake most of the year.

Whether in an RV or tent camping, visitors have 12 single and 13 double campsites to choose from, and each site has a level pad, picnic table and campfire ring which can be used as a cooking grill.

Showers, drinking water and toilet facilities are available within a short distance of each camping site. A waste/dump station is available for RVs. There are no sites with electrical hookups.

Visitors can hike along 1-mile long Mother Nature Trail winding past magnificent oak and beech trees along the lakeshore.
