San Luis Pass
|
San Luis Pass is always a place for heavy proliferations of birds, but it's especially so in the late summer. Black Terns rest here in numbers 25,000 strong. Magnificent Frigatebirds sit in the West Bay pilings from late April through most of September. And any time at all, there are enough shorebirds wandering the sand as to be overwhelming.
