Williams Tower and Water Wall
|
Skyscrapers are practically required to glitter, and the Williams Tower does; silver and black by day and black and gold by night. By night, the tower also glitters by beacon, its spotlight sliding across the sky. The Williams Tower is the fourth tallest building in Texas (and possibly the tallest building in the world outside a downtown), but its style is what makes it famous. Part of that style is the Williams Waterwall at its south end. A proscenium arch acts as a doorway to the main fountain, a semi-circle 64 feet high and constantly streaming with water. This is a very popular site for photo shoots.
