Witte Museum

Dinosaurs, wildlife, and history are the subjects of Witte. Live animals (snakes and spiders among them) are here as well as the more typical fossils and stuffed critters. The kids will find plenty of exhibits they can experiment with, from air to lasers, in the H-E-B Science Treehouse, and they can learn an amazing amount of river ecology in Take It to the River. The log cabins in the backyard are also a must-visit. Some of these are getting on two hundred years old.
