Del Rio - Boating

Del Rio's desert is broken up by Lake Amistad, a border-crossing, immense lake that stretches for miles and miles in either distance. This is a major houseboating destination, of course, but amazing for any watersport - particularly canoeing and kayaking. Some of the "paddle routes" on Amistad will take you to major petroglyph sites, such as Parida and Panther Cave, and there are amazing canyons to explore.
