El Paso - Hiking

The Franklin Mountains State Park is contained within El Paso as the largest urban park in the nation and Hueco Tanks is only a half hour drive away. Miles and miles of trails are within El Paso itself and more within its vicinity. These aren't paved, flat tame trails, either, but the kind of steep trails that leave even the expert panting for breath. Hueco Tanks, in itself, is simply astounding to walk through.
