Hill Country - Fishing

Every lake has a slightly different specialty as far as fish are concerned. Lake Buchanan is the lake for White and Striped Bass fishermen. Lake Lyndon B. Johnson is a White Crappie lake. Canyon, Inks, and Marble Falls are all Largemouth Bass lakes. The unique Guadalupe Bass is also a species to watch for.

Indeed, river fishermen will not be disappointed - the Llano River is prime habitat for that Guadalupe Bass. Largemouth and Spotted Bass, as well as carp, catfish and sunfish, also inhabit this river in abundance.
