Abilene - Boating

Abilene is surrounded by lakes, including probably the best known on a name basis - Lake Abilene and Fort Phantom Hill Lake. Lakes both small and shallow and deep and large are close to Abilene city limits. If you like practically skimming your hull over underwater grasses, you will find a lake. If you like to stare into the depths for a hint of fish, or if you like to paddle under dark willow trees, you will find a lake.

Fort Phantom Hill Lake Lake Size:  4,123 acres

Lake Abilene Lake Size:  595 acres

Lake Clyde Lake Size:  449 surface acres
