The Fort Worth Herd, the only twice-daily cattle run in the world, captures the city's spirit - but only a portion of it. For while Fort Worth has its rodeos, cowboy museums, historic honky-tonks and log cabin villages, it's also a very modern city.
The Kimball Art Museum and Modern Art Museum are both small marvels of modern architecture. Sundance Square is an entertainment district beautiful just to walk through, with spectacular fountains. Then, there's the performing arts - few concert halls anywhere can match Bass Performance Hall for size or style.
