Salt Basin Dunes

2,000 acres of dunes exist within Guadalupe Mountains National Park, but you will need to speak to a park ranger at Headquarters to visit them. They're certainly worth a visit, however - there is every kind of dune here, small dunes grown with desert plants and massive, glittering dunes sixty feet high.
