These lakes are bordered by rock and cattail, a relaxed vista for relaxed lakes, next to San Antonio, perhaps the most relaxed large city in Texas. Braunig and Calaveras Lakes are large enough to handle motorcraft and water-skiing, but are fine lakes for a kayak or a canoe trip as well.
