Austin Museum of Art - Laguna Gloria

This used to be Austin’s Museum of Art entire. All the exhibits were here, but today, the focus is less on the art and more on the building, an Italian-style villa set just on the banks of Lake Austin. This was home to Clara Driscoll, who designed the (still here) terraced gardens with her husband, Hal Sevier. She’s most famous for striving to preserve the Alamo; she apparently succeeded.
