You may want to decide on your mood for the hour, or the day, and pick attractions based on that. Kids will love the highly interactive Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, history buffs will love Lyndon Baines Johnson National Historical Park, nature lovers will want to sit near the Congress Avenue Bridge in the summer evenings - and watch the bats fly out by the thousands and thousands. And, of course, one thing you can always catch in Austin is a show.
